Discussion NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi?

On my new smartwatch I have NFC selected as the connection to make payments with Google wallet. My question is whether it is necessary to enable Bluetooth and/or WiFi as well? Or is NFC stand alone?

The three means of communication do different things. If using for payment, enable NFC. Whether you leave other two means enabled is irrelevant.
