two months ago I switched over from a cdma carrier because I needed to have
the ability to buy a SIM card when I went overseas for business trips to
save money. after purchasing a unlocked phone I was ready to enjoy the
heavily toted cingular network that promised more coverage.
I live in the Atlanta area - the headquarter of cingular - and the coverage
is dismal - the cdma carrier that I had previously not only had better
coverage in the Atlanta metro area but on a national basis - had far better
infrastructure and customer service than cingular.
there technical people tell me that I have to turn my phone on an off all
the time in order to get the most performance out of the network. how lame
If cingular would live up to its more bars in more places - they could be
taken seriously - however the truth is
NO BARS IN MORE PLACES -
