no bloody sound

hi there i have hooked my zoostorm up to my 32" TV using a dvi connector with a hdmi lead from it to TV as there is no VGA port on the tv, I have also connected a audio lead from comp to the audio ports on the tv but i still have no sound, i've been into the device manger and the sound is playing but not out the tv. can emdy help me out here please?

You probably have to set the audio input on the TV. It probably thinks it should be HDMI.

The TV menu should have settings for this.

What model is the TV? I want to google it and get a image of the back panel.
DVI doesn't carry sound, but HDMI does. So the TV might want sound from that input and you plugging in left & right RCA's for sound, might be on a different TV input?

Yes, I looked at the back panel. And I assume you've had no luck?
As you have 2 HDMI inputs and a component input [your 3 colors and 2 audio(L+R)]

So plugging audio into the component and using an HDMI input for video, won't work.

A DVI to component "cheater cable" would be the easiest.

Ideally you would get a video card with an HDMI output. Most GPU's now have: display port plus HDMI and DVI.

The HDMI inputs do not have audio inputs associated so both have to be on the same cable.
