Solved! No bootable device shutdown

I got a new hard drive because the old one broke i think and i ran a diagnostics and it told me to get a new hard drive.i put the new hard drive in but now it says "no bootable device" then the only option says is to shutdown

That is because you have to reinstall your operating system on to the new HDD.
