I just started using IPTV and quickly realised that I was only getting PCM stereo out of the AVR, even if the movie has a 5.1 audio track. The TV is connected to the AVR via Arc and I have no prob getting surround sound from Prime or Netflix.
I tried faffing around the settings on the IPTV player, the only somewhat relevant setting I found was to select an external player. I thought I had struck gold!
I selected VLC as external player and made sure I had "digital passthrough" in VLC's audio settings. Alas, I am still only getting 2 channel stereo
Any ideas?
TV = TCL C805
VCR = Denon AVR S660H
IPTV Player = Ibo Player Pro
