Solved! No picture from DVD player

Have got a proscan dvd player hooked up to my Emerson tv and the sound works perfect but no picture.
Have everything hooked up correctly but no picture just sound.

Do you see the DVD players menu while no DVD is inserted?

Which cable are you using?

To test remove any other analogue cables from the TV and be sure you to connect the yellow video cable into the yellow s-video in of the TV.

Did you switch your TV to the correspondent source? It should be "component" or "AV". This can differ from TV brand to TV brand , you can also just switch all sources through till you get a picture on the TV.

Which Emerson TV model is it?
