No sound from speakers when microphone plugged in

I'm on Windows 8.1. Same problem as I can see from users on Windows 7. When I plug in my Yeti microphone into my desktop the sound from my speakers disappears.

Please do try some of these setup process from YETI support site that may help.

If that link will not solve the issue try to uninstall/reinstall the software of the microphone just to make sure. Also make sure Playback Devices is set to play using your speakers.
- Right click on the speaker icon on the bottom right and select Playback Devices.
- Make sure there's a green check on Speakers.
