OK, and did you try the HDMI 1 port? Need some details about what you are plugging this into and did it work before.

An HDMI input doesn't have a separate audio input unless it was intended that it could be used with a DVI to HDMI cable.
Check the audio settings menu of the firestick. Try different settings.
