No sound

Hello,
I have a samsung syncmaster t260 and I get no sound from the speakers that are built in.
All connections are correct.
Realtek High Definition Audio software is installed, showing on de mixer down right on my screen. Still no sound. Help

Check the volume control on the OSD (if any) and turn it right up. Then adjust in Windows Control Panel.


It may be a defect -- I've had this issue with a secondhand flatscreen -- I concluded that the audio circuit on the screen's motherboard had fritzed.
