No sound

Hello,
i have HP Pavilion dv8000 I have recently installed windows 7 on it.device manager is showing that that driver for multimedia audio controller is not available.please post a link for appropiate driver and also how to install it.No sound is coming out of my computer

It appears the HP site does not list a driver for Windows 7. However, in most cases, the Windows Vista driver should work.
