Question No video when connecting laptop to tv with HDMI

I am trying to connect my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad E330) to my LG TV (32LD450N) with a HDMI cable (High Speed with Ethernet). The desktop is mirrored to the tv screen, but as soon as I try to start a video within a browser (Firefox) I get a black screen with "no signal". Both the computer and the TV are, of course, old (more than 10 years, I think). Is there anything I can do to get the videos showing? Could the problem be in the settings or in the cable, or is the system simply too old to handle this?

Is HDCP enabled on your laptop? If so, disable it.

I managed to solve the problem. It was a graphic card drivers issue. After updating the connection works fine.
