Hi all, looking to buy a laptop as a gift but don't know much about laptop hardware. This one will be used for web browsing, e-mail, youtube/Netflix, that sort of thing. No gaming. I've found a couple that look good at good prices, anyone able to give me some feedback on them or link to any better deals out there? Also, should I wait for black Friday? Thanks!

Yes. The SSD option is overpriced at + $120, although not bad. What tablet could you get for this price, including the Office 2013? That alone is worth the money. Can you afford to throw it in the trash or sell off the parts if it turns out to be a dud? You should be able to strip useful software off it. You need the Office ID key and OS key too if you can get them.

Did you click the dropdown for the SSD option? Its $200 with the SSD just wondering if that's still a "steal" as you put it. It has a 90 day warranty from the seller. I don't know anything about the seller except that he has good feedback on ebay.

Yeah I agree especially when you could get a 250GB Samsung 840 Evo for $149 and then clone the HD that comes with it, and you'd still come out ahead.
