But - TurboC was modern 30 years ago (Gosh, how the time flies). While it allowed for very fast app development, it is far from modern C standards, so unless you are trying some 30 years old source code, there are good chances your C program won't compile.
There are much better alternatives these days for command-line C development (pay attention to free Borland C++ compiler on that same page) - DevC, VisualC etc
