Not connecting to my IP address on my Kodi box

My Kodi box is Not connecting to my IP address.

Can you ping the kodi IP from your host PC?

DHCP can't assign IP address so I have added a new router in between and it helped. But even though I had statically assigned IP address through MAC adress of the box it had no connection and I could not ping the box.
