Note 8 antivirus

I'm buying a note 8 do I need a antivirus on it and if so which one should I get

Note 8 has an antimalware inbuilt in the set powered by McAfee which you can access under settings/Device Maintenance/Device security
But I don't know how good is it in preventing the phone from external malware and virus attacks
Does anybody know about its usefulness?
