Ntldr missing

Hello,
xp laptop will not boot just shows ntldr missing, tried repair, no option given, no sign of windows installation just 2 partitions one fat 32 and one nfts
How can I either resolve ntldr problem or repair windows

You can try the AVG rescue disk. You create a bootable CD. It includes an AVG virus scanner and some extra tools.

This may not be the only option but I have had this exact problem twice before and tried loads of different solutions only to end up doing a system reinstallation. I was able to remove files from hdd before by hooking drive up to desktop.

Hopefully you will find a solution.
