number keybroad is not working

For some reason when I try to type the number, it only give me the symbol. For example, I type number 8, but it gives me * Plus, all my letters are all capitalize even though I have not turn on my caps lock. Please advise what can I do to fix this issue. Thank you!

Sounds like a shift key is stuck or shorted. normally you can open the onscreen keybd and the one being pressed will be hi-lite/white. You may need to replace the keybd to fix this.
