NVIDIA geforce 840M on ACER

I am wondering if i can replace my graphics card on my laptop. I think it is busted because I can't use my laptop if I enable it. I am wondering, if I can replace it, or pursue buying a new laptop. Advance Thanks!

Normally laptop GPU's cannot be upgraded or be replaced with a new on since it's often soldered to the motherboard.
