And for that, the amount of memory is critical–without enough memory, you can't even load a model to train, and these models are rapidly increasing in size. It is pure ignorance to think that nvidia will reduce the prices.. i am sure they are going to price this top tier around 2000 $... To reduce the price there should be competition... Till now there is no competitor for 2080 ti in market... Upcoming big navi is still months away and performance numbers are speculation... Mark my words - 3090/3080 ti will be priced 1999 $...
