Nvidia graphic card

I ma wondering if my laptop can really help me run 3Dfunction in such softwares like photoshop illustrator... Or even modify some 3D videos .
Laptop's configuration is:
Intel core i5 4200U 1.7ghz 4th generation
Resolution full hd
Graphic card nvidia Gt840m 2gb Vrm DDR3
RAM 6GB
please help . Im a graphist and i want to know if i should buy a new computer

So my nvodia card 800series doesn't support 3D functions on photoshop or illustrator
