Does more mah mean more battery life? Example:7000mah vs 1000 mah
Does it mean it has 7 times more battery life?

So if shield have around 7000mah as stated in ifixit and iPhone 5 has over 2000 mah Does it mean it has 3 times more battery life? I know Tegra 4 consumes more power but it has 3 times more battery life if it does everything the same as iPhone 5?

no.

for starters the shield is NOT a phone. if anything it is a tablet since it can not make calls.

second the hardware will draw more power so you cannot make a direct comparision.

when gaming you can expect around 6 hours of life with the shield. on an iphone about 4 hours if you believe testers and the public at large.
