Hey guys. Since last year I was really excited, about the laptop/tablet Lenovo yoga book, but a friend told me "It isn't made for games" (he ruined my hopes btw x'D). So now I am looking for a laptop, similar to lenovo yoga book, but I want to use it for games too .And I have no idea, which laptop I should buy, also I don't understand a lot about them. I really need help, so will you help me, please?(cuz I am desperate ;-
If you are looking to buy a convertible laptop with a dedicated GPU to play games with, then you need a large enough budget in order to buy such a laptop. An example would be the 15-inch HP Spectre x360 with a quad core i7-8550u and nVidia mx150 (between the performance of the GTX 950m and GT 960m) which costs $1,660.
If you are looking to spend way less than $1,660, then your only option would be to rely on Intel's integrated HD 620 graphics cord. Roughly speaking, it's performance is roughly around 85% of a nVidia 920m. However, the nVidia mx150 is currently considered to be a mainstream performance dedicated GPU while the nVidia 940mx (and everything else below it) is considered to be a budget GPU.
Money don't matter. But I am an artist that is why I liked Lenovo yoga book, I want it for games and also for drawing. I don't think that the ones you suggested will be good for me to also draw on them. Do you have any other suggestions?
Hey, you can go with 'HP Spectre x360 15-BL012DX 2-in-1 15.6" 4K UHD TouchScreen Laptop'. It comes with Intel Core i7 - Nvidia GeForce 940MX, 16GB Memory, 512GB Solid State Drive. According to me, it is the only one on which you can draw and play games without compromising the performance.
