Hi, I just moved down in my dads basement, it is kind of an old ''man-cave''. But he has this old Sony DAV-S300 home theatre thing, we havent used it in many years, and it has many cables that I'm not familiar with, and they are not compatible with the tv.
I just want to use the speakers, when watching tv and playing on my console and so.

I might just buy a S Video to HDMI Adapter, but then maybe it only work with that ¨channel¨, like ¨hdmi 2¨ or ¨vga 1¨. I dont know?!?
Please help, links below: :)

Solution
An Svideo to HDMI adapter is not needed since you don't need to use the Sony for video..
You can't use the speakers without the main unit (that's where the amp and processing is located). That unit has av inputs with analog audio so if your TV has analog out connect it. Connect your console to the TV with HDMI.
Most TVs have optical audio out, if yours does then you would need a DAC like this one

Leave the Sony on the one input you use and adjust the volume from it.
