OneDrive - What does "Improve upload speed by uploading files in batches" mean?

I have an internet speed of 100kBps and I need to upload 2 .zip folders which are 5GB each. Will selecting this option improve upload speeds?

If you zipped them up and they do indeed compress, they will be smaller files in the end. It will not increase your upload speed but will decrease upload time. Sort of a silly question really. Don't mean to be rude...

No I am uploading the zip files, and I am wondering if uploading them in batches will help.

sound like when set on, it upload more than 1 file at a time
