Opinion on The Razer Chimaera 5.1

Hello there,,

I was wondering if The Razer Chimaera 5.1 was worth buying its on a discount at the moment.

Personally I never buy gaming headsets over 2.0/2.1, your just going to get 6 speakers of a lower quality compared with 2/3 of a higher quality, but I'm a stickler for my audio 😛 Some people like surround as well, I don't.
A lot of people will probably say Razer build quality is poor, but I've found if you treat them right they last fine, had a pair of Carcharias last me 6 years so I think people are just sometimes too rough.

There is also a 2.1 version, im just wondering if its a good headset since its wireless, i've found myself breaking all my headsets just because i accidently run over the cable. what would you personally say on this specific headset?

Can't say anything about the battery life or the quality of the wireless, seems like they are just a wireless version of the Tiamats, which I do have a pair of, I like them Mic is good quality for general VoIP and the sound is good as well.

They run on Rechargable Batteries i wonder if thats any good on headsets :/
