Hi, guys! I'm thinking to purchase a low-budget laptop (Lenovo V110, Intel Celeron N3550, 4gb ddr4, 1terra hdd). Now, the integrat gpu is a Gma HD 500. Can i manage to play Diablo 3 or Grim Dawn on this? What games could i play?

If you need more info on the laptop's specs, just let me know. Thanks in advance!

I don`t recommend either, but there is no better solution for me right now. I have no choice, and i really want to play Grim Dawn. I say some videos with some big games like Bioshock or GTA V played on a intel HD 520, on low details i presume, and i wonder how bad HD 500 it is to no be able to play Diablo 3 or Grim Dawn on low settings...

The Intel HD 500 is pretty low end as well as Celeron N3xxx series Atom CPUs.

While the Intel HD 520 may be pretty decent for integrated graphics, the Intel HD 500 is less powerful than the Intel HD 4000 graphics core found in 3rd generation Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPUs. The performance is probably half of the Intel HD 520.

The Celeron N3350 is pretty weak compared to even a 2nd generation Core i3 CPU. I would guess it's performance would be similar to some of the mobile Core 2 Duo CPUs released back in 2007. Good enough for basic usage. The N3350 has a base clock speed of 1.1GHz and can burst up to 2.4GHz. Burst speed is just that burst, not sustained, as long as the CPU remains cool enough to do so.

And i was ready to buy this thing... not to mention that i have a Dell with n3540 processor and intel hd graphics, which is weak by default. I hoped to make some improvement with this hd 500. It is a let down now. Thanks, jaguarskx.

The Intel HD 500 is more powerful than the Intel HD (Bay Trail) graphics core in the Pentium N3540 which is the weakest of all modern Intel HD graphic cores since 2010. The laptops you are looking at have low end Intel CPUs which are generally good enough for tablets and entry level laptops.

If you want decent Intel HD graphics performance, then you need to step up to at least a core i3 CPU like the i3-6100u which has the Intel HD 520, or the i3-7100u which has the Intel HD 620. The Intel HD 620 is somewhat close the the performance of the nVidia 920m.

That's some info, right there! Then, better waiting, gather more money, buy an i3-7100u, and close the case. You saved me from feeling sorry. Much appreciated!

A nice touch, but i came to conclusion that i am better with a second-hand i3-5005u/i3-4005u GT 920m, priced at 190-200 euro, the model with 2gb ddr3 dedicated card. I found some radeons too, the case is with an HP AMD A10 9600P, R7 M440 4gb ddr3, 4gb ddr4 2133mhz, priced at 250 euros, second-hand, of course, but when it comes to amd and radeons, i am inclined to expect bad results, bad heating.
