Opinions on these laptops

Starting uni in September so looking for a decent laptop. So far I've come up with these,

The Core i5-5200u is a more powerful CPU than the A10-7300. The integrated Radeon R6 (Kaveri) graphics core is more powerful than the Intel HD 5500 graphics core. However the A10-7300 has the slower version which is a little less powerful than the nVidia GT 720m. The A10-7400p has the more powerful version which is about as powerful as the nVidia 730m or perhaps a bit more powerful. From a gaming perspective the A10-7300 would offer better performance.

Intel CPUs consumes less power than AMD CPUs so laptops with Intel CPUs generally have longer batter life compared to laptops with AMD APUs... unless they get stuck with a really small battery.

I would give the edge to the z50 as the gpu is stronger than the intel hd 5500. Also it has an 8 gig ssd cache which should help with frequently accessed programs speed. Also if you just use your laptop for normal things like web surfing, it has a 1080p screen compared to the 720p screen which should make texts and videos look much better.
