I've been using an OTA antenna to get our CBS station since they were cut off from Dish. Now I understand that we will lose our NBC channel the day before the Olympics start. When I go through the channel list on the TV, it skips the NBC channel. going from 8 (ABC) to 23 (PBS). How can I get the NBC local signal to register?

I know about switching sources to TV. I'm not switching completely, just using an OTA antenna to get local channels that have been blocked. This is all part of a conflict between Dish and Raycom media (owner of the local station) and is affecting millions of customers in markets all over the US.

My issue is that when I am in TV mode, I can see all of the other local channels, but not the NBC affiliate. It's simply not listed at all.

Thank you for that link!!
That site says I have a strong signal for the channel I am after.
HOWEVER, all of the other channels are listed as UHF band and the channel I'm missing it listed as Hi V band.

So the question becomes a little different - what do I need to do to pick up a HiV band signal.
