Outdoor Patio Speakers

Hi all,
I am looking for a setup for some wireless outdoor music speakers that can connect with a Sonos system. What speakers can I use? I can't seem to find any that work...

it would just be to connect to a Sonos Connect system.

If you mean battery driven speakers you can connect any wireless transmitter to the output of a Sonos Connect. So the Soundcast speakers would work. You can also use any bluetooth speaker with the correct transmitter such as this

The only issue will be range and whether the batteries in the speaker will last long enough for you.

that might actually work! the range for bluetooth is about 30 feet, right? if I use that adapter, I would just be hooking up a phone or laptop (whatever has the 3.5 mm jack) and streaming it to the speakers, correct?

Yes, the range for bluetooth is 30ft. You would be hooking up to anything with a 3.5mm jack and yes, you stream it to the speakers.

You could use any source but if you use a Sonos Connect as a source you will have full control from your smartphone if the wifi works outside.
