P67A-GD65 usb 3.0 driver win 7 64 bit

P67A-GD65 msi motherboard running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit cant get the usb 3.0 to work tried using msi liveupdate didnt detect anything tried a manual download from nec site didnt work but it i fresh install win 8 they work?

It works in 8 because there is a generic driver built in.

What did you download from the NEC site? Shouldn't be anything there for you.
