Packard Bell not working

So I just bought a brand new Packard Bell laptop it's an easynote te69, I had it plugged in charging and I was going through the set-up and then I walked away to make myself a cup of tea and when I came back the screen was dark and now I can't get it to work at all.

The lights were still on to indicate it was charging and the blue light seemed to indicate that it was turned on but the power button won't do anything and the screen still won't work. Help.
