Pansat 2500A

I just purchased a Pansat 2500A and cant program it.. When I turn it on it
ask what language and I select English and then Parental Control is blank
and Channel Edit is also blank. By pressing exit it
goes back to Language, like a loop. It goes from one to the other. all other
function from the remote dont work, user setup is also blank, the other two
on that menu is Factory setting and system info.
that system info is (04/19/2004).. any way get out of this Mess Thanks,

First you need to update your factory flash to the new Aug 24 flash then you
need to do a sat scan in the install menu before any of the other features
would work......or you can load up a channel list using Gtool. You can do a
lot of reading about it here. Just read and read and read and read before

You have to setup your satellite LNB settings and scan for channels before
you can edit a channel, or use parental control.
