Hi all,
I've been reading a little on this site and I love the passion everyone has when answering a question.

As a first time PC builder, I'm not sure what specs are required for a decent VR experience but I am liking the look of an i5 8th Gen CPU and a 1080/2070 GPU. My budget is pushing a little over $2000 so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a PC suitable for VR and a decent monitor within this budget.

Question: Does the $2000 budget include the VR Headset or is that separate? If it includes it, which one are you looking at?

What you listed would make for a great rift or vive machine. Vive pro probably needs a 2080 or better.

16gb ram is normally fine but if interested in a VR flight sim like DCS F/A-18, it recommends 32gb.
