PC gaming headset

Hello.

I'm looking for a gaming headset below $120. I checked a few models and this is what I found/other people suggested:

These look pretty nice. And every review I red describes them as perfect.
1 last question - is it a problem that they're USB? Or it's better than the 3.5mm?

P.S. Excuse my newbish questions, I'm not really into audio technique, this is actually the first time I'm buying expensive headset.

There is no problem of them being USB headsets, except that you cannot connect it to your phone/tablet/mp3/etc.
