[PC] Looking for a new Sound System - max 300€ (381$)

Hi

To keep it short: Im looking for a new Soundsystem for my PC.
Budget: max 300€

This is my current Hardware:
Soundcard: Creative Soundblaster Audigy (got 4 outputs)
Motherboard: GigaByte P55A-UD3
At the moment I own and use as speakers the mini-HiFi Station Sony MHC-RG121

But these are seriously getting in their years (6-8 years old) and now it's the time for a replacement! 😀

Since i want to spend a maximum of 300€ im quite limited i assume. Another problem is that i can't decide whether I should buy a 2.1 or a 5.1 System.
I'll mainly use the system to listen to some music when my parents aren't at home 😀 When im playing games im usually using my headset (Sennheiser).

So what are your recommendations?

Or should i rather buy a Hifi System with a Receiver, 2 Speakers and a Suwbwoofer?
To be honest i would rather like to have a HiFi System but I have less than zero technical know-how regarding HiFi Systems =P

teufel makes nice speakers from pc to hifi. you could try razer mako, dunno which ones more expensive.

if ur gonna buy recevier and passive speakers, then i dont think youll be able to buy a subwoofer as well, unless u increase your budget significantly.
