I wanted to buy one paid version of any PC Optimizer utility. Question in my mind was: which one?

To ascertain major brands' efficacy, I ran three tests in identical environment, one by one, without making any changes from start to the end of these three tests, in my Windows 8.1 x64 PC.

Here are very confusing results without a clear verdict qualifying the purchase decision.

Can you help?

-------------------------

Avira - Registry cleaner 2,307 and Junk file cleaner 51,931

AVG - Registry cleaner 126 and Junk file cleaner 20,525

CCleaner - Registry cleaner 21 and Junk file cleaner 2,500 approx

----------------

That's what I had been doing but, at one point of time, PC started becoming very slow.
When nothing worked, I used AVG PC Tune up, and it did the job in first attempt.
That made me start thinking about an alternative to CCleaner, and you have seen the results that made the decision all the more difficult.

I thought so until I faced a nagging problem which CCleaner couldn't handle, and AVG PC Tuner came to my rescue, on first use.
That is when I began to think of buying.

But is you say Glary Utilities, assuming it has a free version like CCleaner, I might want to give it a try. Thanks.
