Hello everyone!
I am sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes as English is not my native Language. Also this is my first thread in this website and i apologize if this is the wrong category for this subject.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 7567 a week ago and i had a rattling issue on touchpad which felt like i could click twice with a single push. i tried to solve it myself and opened the back cover. I removed the battery, checked the touchpad area and put battery back on. I didn't manage to fix it. problem starts here; as soon as i closed the lid, turned the computer on and tried to play some games i realized a stuttering. Before this process i was able to play the most demanding games on high settings like Batman: Arkham Knight or Gta V with no flaws. The stutterings don't look like fps drops which you have with an insufficient gpu. They are more like random short continuous freezes. i tried reinstalling everything. every setting is same as the time when there was no problem at all. i tried using HWMonitor to see if it was a thermal issue but neither my cpu nor my gpu gets past 75 Celsius. And even more interesting my pc used to work at higher temperatures with no performance issues. now i have my pc like 5-10 degrees cooler but i am having performance issues on games. Also when i checked HWMonitor and saw my minimum clock speeds went as low as 800Mhz, without it going over 75C. when i disabled Intel speedstep from bios my games ran a bit more stable but that also locked my cpu speed to 2700Mhz even though i didnt disable the Intel TurboBoost and it was also lower performance than i first bought the laptop. The issue starts after a few minutes of gameplay even though there is no overheating in the computer.

I checked my windows power settings, did a clean installation of windows 10 64bit. reinstalled every kind of driver and tried pressing the power button for 5 seconds while battery is plugged off. also updated my bios.

Specs: Intel Core i7 7700 hq
Nvidia Gtx 1050ti mobile
16GB of Ram
1Tb HDD
128GB SSD
Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit

So people, i am quite unhappy since this computer is a week old and i am desperate for help/suggestions.

Thank you in advance.

try to warranty replace it but do not tell them you opened the back of the laptop as you voided the warranty.

Thank you for your quick reply! Today Dell told me on a phone call that it does not void the warranty to open the back cover but since the warranty service is quite poor in my country i dont want to hassle with processes that can go longer than a month sometimes. Thats the reason i want to solve the problem myself. Also they would figure out that i opened up the computer by looking at screws.

the screws come undone on their own to the point of falling out of laptop even when locktight is used. I always tighten the screws even when I know the laptop has not been opened as I usually find a few loose screws.
