PHILIPS 55 55PUS6162 4K Problem

I have a Philips 55 inch tv when I first plug it in and press the plug switch the red light on my tv comes on, then when I press the button on the remote to turn it on it comes on for a few seconds then goes off the 2nd time I press the on button on the remote it seems ok it's as if it takes a while to start up, any ideas why, hope it's not faulty

Sounds like power board is becoming faulty if you have turn it off and back on to get it to work.
Is this a brand new TV?

Yes it's new

Sorry I don't need to turn it off, the first time I put it on it turns off goes on standby on its own, but only does this once, when first put on

Yes ref light will come on I press power button on remote, tv goes from off to on then off again, press button on remote again then everything's fine

No I can use remote to turn it on or off

Could it be maybe the tv booting up like a computer?? Any ideas
