Phone not sending or receiving any calls or text messages.

So I had to do a factory reset on my phone to fix an issue. Now it won't send or receive any calls or text messages. It keeps saying "searching for signal." It does work for a short time when I reboot it but it never lasts very long. I have no problem with Wi-Fi just the mobile network. It's a galaxy nexus and i use Verizon. Anyone know how to fix this?

Contact your provider. It sounds like something on your phone needs to be reset.
