Solved! Phone on tablet

I have u.s.cellular and they issued a phone number with service for my tablet but I can't get the phone number to be used with it

You may have a tablet that can't be used as a phone. You may also need a SIM for the device to have service. I suggest checking with the manufacturer to see what you need and then get in touch with the carrier/service provider.
