Phone or network problem?

Just bought a SECOND Samsung J7 that has the same problem as the first: complaints from others that I fade in and out, sound distant. I hear others fine. Previously had a Galaxy Prevail--no problems. All phones used on Boost. Any thoughts appreciated.

Does it always have the fading in and out no matter where you are? Or is it worse/better depending on location. I don't mean far distances either, it can be turning different directions in the same room, etc.

This doesn't seem to matter. Sometimes I sound OK, then distant or as though under water. All 3 phones have been used in the same locations. It seems unlikely that 2 different J7's would have this same issue, but the problem also seems too narrow and specific to blame the network. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. It sounds like you are right about it being a flaw in that model. If the phone is still under warranty, I would contact the manufacturer.
