Apple watch ranges from $499 to $799. And you have to buy apple watch if you want notification of a call of your iPhone because Apple doesn't allow its users to connect with other devices.

Sorry to inform you but you will need "Apple Watch" if you want to receive call/message notifications from your cell to your smartwatch.
