phone won't charge

I have a Samsung galaxy 3 and suddenly the battery was draining fast doesn't last an hour even on stand by or turned off. Now when I go to charge it, I have to wiggle the charge cord around to get it to connect? I know its not the charger itself because it will charge other phones no problem. Is it my battery or has something happened to the outlet that I plug the charger into on the phone???

Probably the charge port has gotten bent or has shifted. Mine has started doing that recently, will only charge when the cable is angled a certain way. Either live with it, create a DIY fix (some kind of dock, or taping it to keep it at an angle), or get that port replaced.
