Pixel 2 Charging Issues

Hello,


about a week ago i have recieved an issue while charging my Pixel 2.

When the phone is on and charging, everything works fine, no problems. But when i plug it in while it is off / turn it off while charging, my screen gets stuck at the battery charginf symbol and will never go off, even when unplugging. When i want to power it on again, i have to hold the powerbutton for aprox. 15 seconds until it powers on.

I have no idea how to fix this and a google search did not help either.

Does anyone have an idea?

Rather odd issue. I would contact the manufacturer.
