Pixel wont turn off, making sound, it is on with google logo

I just tried to turn the Pixel on. It is stuck with Google logo. I can not shut it off, it is also making sounds. Help.

I left it as is for the night hoping the battery will run down. By the morning, the battery was zero. I retried and found that the phone is now working as it should. Problem solved.
