Hi could i replace a50 inch samsung plasma screen thats broken, with a working phillips 50 inch screen?

Only if the internal Screen panels are the same type

if the screen is smashed but the unit is working...pull power from the unit and look at the service part number on the lcd panel. then google that part number for the price of the lcd panel.
