For a $180 used ThinkPad, you won't be able to play GTA V past low on maybe 800x600 resolution. For a game like GTA V you need to spend about $600+ on a new system or maybe 3-400 on a used one with a decent video card. Or an AMD A10, that can run it on lower settings OK. nVidia 940m or higher for something with an Intel i5.

$180 for a ThinkPad?

Sounds like it will have an Intel HD 3000 or at best Intel HD 4000 graphics core. According to benchmarks from Notebookcheck.net. The Intel HD Graphics 3000 managed only 7.5 FPS while the Intel HD Graphics 4000 managed 26.8 FPS at 1028x768 and the lowest possible settings.

I don't think ANY Thinkpad could run it. Thinkpads are not and never have been designed for gaming. They are business class and lite home use laptops. I doubt you could run GTA IV on them at high settings.
