Please Help Me Choose My New Laptop Important!!!!

Hello Guys
Im just about to start the new year and this time im going to learn software engeneering in college so i have decided for suitable laptop that will be able to hold on to its preformance for a long time...
im searching for a laptop with and 8th gen core i5 or i7 cpu 4k display and good overall ratings of the pc and manafacture i have a pretty high budget between 1500$ to 2500$ but of course the cheeper the better...
i also have a desktop for gaming so i dont need the laptop to be gaming related... i might watch some 4k content in it in my free time or browse in web other then programming...
if possible i would like to have an opinion from a guy who used the laptop before or at list know for sure that it has a good 4k display and not only on paper.
so 2 main things i want it to be fast and suitable for what i do, and i want it to have a good 4k screen...

are you sure it muches everything? i know its pretty good overall and i have it in my range
all though i would like to get more suggestions and maybe even for a bit cheaper laptops from 1500 to 2200 as i said i will spand the money if needed i just want to make sure i get the best bang for my bucks

The $1899 one has an 8th Gen i7 H series which is a 6 core 12 threaded beast. It has a 256GB NVMe SSD, beautiful 4k display, GTX 1050Ti Graphics Card if you need it, and 16GB RAM. If you put in an extra $200 you can get a 512GB NVMe SSD. Overall when it comes to the 15" Ultrabook scene you either go with the Dell XPS 15 or the Mac Pro Book.

yes but i want to know other models that are also good so i will compare them i know there is the new asus zenbook pro that is also good and maybe other modells im just not exactly sure about the dell one and i want to hear other people opinions also so pls guys if you watch this and you can help by answering i would really apreciate it
