lenovo z500 I'd stay as far away from HP as you can, their laptops are garbage. Personally I would recommend asus, their hardware is top of the line and their customer support unparralleled really amazing service. I still have an asus laptop from 4 years ago and its solid still have only had to replace the hard drive because I ran out of space and I upgraded the ram.

As in my reference to asus customer service - I had an issue with the hard drive after the store warranty expired - asus customer service promply got me another under the mfg warranty within 3 days.
