possible to game on an 830m?

Can my laptop run games like csgo, gta 5, dota 2 and overwatch on 768p (high/ultra or lower)?
my specs as follows:
model name : hp pavillion 15 p001tx
CPU : i5-a4210u 2c/4t, 1.7ghz upto 2.7ghz on turbo.
GPU : nvidia 830m 2gb gddr3 gfx card.
RAM : right now, 4gb 1600mhz in slot one, willing to add another 4gb and if you guys recommend, an 8gb stick in slot 2 totalling a massive 12gb which is the max supported.
HDD : 1tb 5400rpm hdd with windows activated

will i have to encounter problems if i mixed a 4gb stick with 8gb (of same speeds)

An 830m can run games but on lower settings. With 768 resolution it may run on higher than low but depends on the games. GTA V is a lot more demanding than CSGO. You should be able to find benchmarks for your video card to check on. And yes you want another 4 GB of RAM. You should get another 4 GB stick so the laptop can run in full dual channel mode.

Your GPU is going to be your bottleneck, not RAM.
